T-Shirt Design Template
Prepare your Artwork
Open Illustrator and create a 1200*1200 artboard for the pattern and a 600*600 artboard for the swatch (if its variable product).
1- Adjust your artwork to cover the whole pattern artboard area, you can use our illustrator template file with the product reference to have a better view of your artwork and product reference.
2- Do the same for the swatch artboard.
3- Save in 300DPI.
Using the Template
Open the psd file called WeInkThat-Mens-Tshirt-Design-Template.psd,
ย The file consists of the following self explanatory folders:
- Womens Front
- Overlay/Shadows
- PLACE ARTWORK HERE
- Product Colors
- Womens Back
- Overlay/Shadows
- PLACE ARTWORK HERE
- Product Colors
- Mens Front
- Overlay/Shadows
- PLACE ARTWORK HERE
- Product Colors
- Mens Back
- Overlay/Shadows
- PLACE ARTWORK HERE
- Product Colors
- Top View
- Overlay/Shadows
- PLACE ARTWORK HERE
- Product Colors
- Floor
You should place your artwork created in the first step in the PLACE ARTWORK HERE folder adjusting its borders to cover the whole mockup. Now you can copy and paste it in the other product views.
Now expand the Product Colors folder and select one of the color layers that best fits your artwork or create one of your own. Remember to replicate these colors for all the other views(unless your artwork requires otherwise).
Now you can export all your Product Views, these will be used as the mockups, gallery images and featured images of your product.
